Spinning into a frenzy and leaving a carnage among Inarius’ disciples behind, he banishes her into the Void, a place she can not escape from by herself. With the nephalem posing a serious threat to the two forces, plans for their extinction are formed which Lilith isn’t pleased with. As the queen of the Succubi, she’s the mother of the first Nephalem, the forebears of humanity and the “lovechild” of Lilith and the rogue angel Inarius who she turns to her side after initially kidnapping him. Judging by the announcement trailer, the story of Diablo 4 will revolve around the summoning of Lilith, daughter of Mephisto, which you may remember as the end boss of Diablo 2’s Act 3. With different actors in the conflict growing bored with this ever-lasting push and pull, some of them have decided to play their own game. In this fourth instalment, the Eternal Conflict between the forces of High Heavens and Burning Hells is still not resolved.
